: In addition to the work, duties and powers written elsewhere in this Act, the other work, duties and powers of the Department shall be as follows:-
(a) to grant license to conduct business related to direct sale or distribution of goods subject to this Act and the rules made under this Act,
(b) To monitor and inspect the licensee,
(c) Hearing and addressing consumer complaints regarding direct sale or distribution of goods,
(d) punish the licensees who engage in unfair commercial practices,
(e) informing the general public through various means regarding the business related to direct sale or distribution of goods,
(f) To perform other tasks as specified.
